I thought I'd met the perfect guy, but I was too loved up to notice the really bad things. Perhaps he thought the same about me too. Rose tinted specs maybe.

2 things make the perfect man for me,

1) he is breathing
2) he is a man by birth and still one by death.

The perfect man is the one that lives in your head. And no one can even remotely compare to him.
Personally I stopped all together looking for him. I know exactly what is like and where to find him: in my own mind, where I usually spend long periods of time, coming out every now and then to take a breath.

The perfect man is someone who will buy me cheese fries and nachos just because. mmm junk food. i seriously don't believe that perfect people of any sort exist. If you're looking for the perfect person you may not find anyone. We're all flawed.

The perfect man does not exist, we are all flawed! Oh and if you do happen to meet this mythic creature for god's sake don't tell him he's perfect, it's a sure fire way to mess everything up big time!

Again talking from very bitter experience!!!

Like has already been said, nobody is perfect. If someone can put up with your faults, talk to you whether what you want is a silly conversation or a serious one, will do something to make you smile when they know you're not having the best day, who has emotional needs that are balanced with yours, is willing to take the rough with the smooth, even one of those attributes could be something to aspire to have in a partner, and something to be greatly cherished.

You may not find the 'perfect partner', he probably doesn't exist, but don't think that having a good partner should be seen as 'settling', because the good partner might just be the closest you get to 'perfect' and it would be very much a shame to lose them.

Try not to be too specific and let yourself acclimatise to a person rather than expect them to live up to an ideal because if they expect you to do the same you'll realise just how hard that is.

The perfect guy doesn't exist..
And the perfect girl doesn't exist either.
Lol.
And once you think you have found
Someone that seems to fit
Into your views and molds of perfect.
They fuck you over
And take you forgranted.

Its greattt. lol.

Hardtopickname-True this site does have a lot of soul searching damaged people...being that as a whole we seemed to be more in tuned with ourselves and aren't just as oblivious to everything as the normal people (If that term can be used lightly)

Is it wrong to really hurt when you say "I love you" and it doesn't work out unlike the countless people that use that phrase without understanding what it pertains?

As far as I know we're all "Damaged" just some rebound faster than others based on age & experience and ability to replace what was lost or what was let go depending on the case.

Dracshana and RM are not damaged they are just cynical of too many men telling too many lies all the time...it's a defensive mechanism...for when you hope and dream is when you are the most vulnerable.

It's all inside the person, not outside.

A Perfect Guy or Woman would be the one that fits everything you are looking for and that somewhere out there is the perfect match for everyone. We just have to go through the trial dates until we find them.
